In collaboration with an integration partner, Jacmar was asked to modernize the drive system of a pilot papermaking machine. To do so, we designed two new control panels (Machine drives & Extruder), mounted the CSA certified panels and programmed the drives. Our partner took care of the mechanical and electrical installation as well as the programming of the PLC and the machine’s screen pages.
For this project we replaced Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 700 drives with the latest generation Parker AC30 drives.
